For the proper operation of the garden irrigation system, a water source with the following parameters is required: dynamic pressure of 3.0 bar and a water flow rate of 0.6 m³/h.

The garden irrigation system includes all the necessary components for:

• A pop-up sprinkler system for the lawn

• A drip irrigation system for hedges, flower beds, or vegetable patches

When the water source parameters are met, the system is divided into 4 zones. Each zone is independently activated by an internal Hunter controller. The controller sends signals to the electric valves, which are triggered one after another according to the programmed schedule.

The irrigation plan includes the use of Hunter Pro-Spray PROS-04 pop-up sprinklers, which are optimally positioned to ensure even lawn irrigation, with a total of sixteen sprinklers.

The irrigation system for the garden plants is based on drip irrigation using pressure-compensated drip lines, with emitters spaced every 0.33 meters and positioned according to the plants’ locations.

The automatic garden irrigation system consists of the following components:

• Hunter X-CORE 4-Zone Indoor Irrigation Controller
  This controller automates the entire irrigation process. The user-friendly device is intended for indoor use, where it is protected from weather conditions.
  The controller requires a 230 V power socket for operation. It is connected to the electric valves via a signal cable, which sends a 24 V signal (safe voltage) to the solenoids to activate the individual irrigation zones.

• Rain Bird 100-HV Electric Valves
  These valves are installed in a dedicated valve box, which protects them from mechanical damage and environmental factors.
  The valve box is equipped with a PVC base and is usually installed near the water source.
