System Overview

The garden irrigation system includes all the necessary components for:

• A pop-up sprinkler system for lawns

• A drip irrigation system for hedges, flower beds, or vegetable gardens

If the water source parameters are met, the system is divided into 2 zones.
Each zone is independently activated by an internal Hunter control unit. The controller sends signals to the electric valves, which are activated in sequence according to the set schedule.

Irrigation Project Details

The irrigation design incorporates Hunter Pro-Spray PROS-04 pop-up sprinklers, strategically placed to ensure even coverage of the lawn. A total of four sprinklers are included.

For the plant areas in the garden, a pressure-compensated drip irrigation system is used, with drippers spaced every 0.33 meters and adapted to the position of the plants.

Components of the Automatic Irrigation System

• Hunter X-CORE Controller (Indoor, 4 zones):
  This user-friendly controller automates the entire irrigation process. Designed for indoor installation, it is protected from weather exposure. It requires a 230V power outlet. The controller is connected to the electric valves via a signal cable, sending a safe 24V signal to activate the solenoids and control each irrigation zone.

• Rain Bird 100-HV Electric Valves:
  These valves are installed in a special valve box with a PVC floor, which protects them from mechanical damage and weather conditions. The valve box is typically placed near the water source.
